The first ideas I put out into the world weren’t ads, but hardcore punk gigs.
That's because, before becoming a copywriter, I spent a decade leading bands and booking shows in a small town in the far south of Brazil.
But you know, adult life moves as fast as hardcore punk. And in 2018, I felt the need to book myself a gig somewhere else. So I dropped playing in bands in Pelotas and came to play with words in São Paulo.
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to create cool ideas for brands like Netflix, Samsung, Nestlé, Shell, and Bridgestone in some of the country’s biggest agencies.
And although I'm not as involved in the independent scene these days, one thing hasn't changed: I still love that same youthful thrill of seeing my ideas come to life.
